The color is burnt sienna, slightly opalescent with compact hazel foam.
It's full of flavor. The soft notes and caramelized malt is interspersed with hints of hops that recall the fresh and fruity aromas of gooseberry, in a perfect harmony of flavors. In the mouth its round body is enhanced by honey and coriander used in brewing.

Aarhus 23/7 2020. 33 cl bottle from Vin & Vin, Østergade, Silkeborg. Small stylistic black and brown flowers on the label. The version I am drinking only holds an ABV of 7,5.
Pours orange-ish maroon with a medium-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of toffee and caramel. Some leather and shoe cream. A bit of pastry with nuts.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sugary sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitterness just underneath. Lingers for a while.
Nice Italian take on a Dubbel. A bit pastry-like but in a nice not overly sweet way.
