16oz can poured into a teku

A- pours a sludgy murky yellow-orange with a one-finger head that leaves behind some nice lacing

S- an eclectic mix of fruity hops, coffee & lactose, with the fruit emphases on mango

T- fruity hops up front with notes of citrus peel, mango & guava. Mid-palate gives some lactose and vanilla notes, the finish brings out just a hint of coffee and lingers of more vanilla

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into the finish

O- an interesting concoction, it's not bad but not something I'd try again

Wow. Like Lady Gaga with makeup on, this one is deceiving. It’s a so-called Coffee Milkshake IPA, but Raul is feelin’ more of a blonde coffee stout (alà Noble Ale Works’ Naughty Sauce). At the end of the day though, what does it matter what one calls itself if it tastes good? I mean, if Barbara Palvin wants to slap my ass and call me George, I’m all for it. SoSuper Smooth, Coffee Milkshake IPA, Coffee Blonde Stout... whateva. It’s all good to Raul.
