This beer is a style that BC should be known for as the english brewing traditions extend right back to Spinnakers ESB. Thankfully Crannog get this style right with lots of main body, good bitterness and a solid balance. Mid gold with slight carbonation, this beer needs to warm up as most places will serve it ice cold. Crannog being organic seem to make their beers taste real and full of attention to detail. Along with Granville Island's Bitter and Lohin' ESB from Howe Sound this ranks among BC's best in the style.
