Another great beer from Crannog - consistently making one of the best of each style in BC.
A good bit darker than most brown ales.
The first smell is nutty, with a sweet background of soft toffee and caramel.
A strong tasting beer, nice, but not overwhelming. The nuttiness really comes through alongside a sweet maltiness.
A fantastic, easy-drinking, smooth beer from one of the best breweries I have come across.

A solid nut brown ale from one of my favoured micros.
This beer is a dark mahogany with a light brown head. It smells malty, with toffee and hazelnut scents in it. There is a bit of hop bitterness and a slight sour tone to it. Overall, the malt, toffee and hazelnut tastes take the forefront.
Crannog once again has crafted a well made, old-style ale that it is flavourful and unique.
