Doing this from notes
A: As expected, it's a brown colored beer with a beige head. Retention is decent, as well as lacing.
S: Notes of nuts, molasses and toffee. Typical for the genre. Some dry hopping is there with candied orange.
T: You get a lot from the typical English barleywine. Nuts, leather, toffee, molasses. But, there is a light amount of dry hopping that pushes through with notes of pine and marmelade. Very well balanced and not too sweet.
M: Mouthfeel is something this brewery does better than a lot of micros in Quebec. It's medium to heavy but it's not sticky at all. Really well done.
O: This is a great beer. It's nothing extremely special but it's REALLY well done. Worth the try for sure.
