Impressive (for the style) dense white head that recedes slowly and in a lumpy fashion. Random medium long streaks and an occasional splotch of lace. The liquid is gold with a haze.
Soft paler malt aroma. Attractive. Light hop and no notable alcohol to the nose.
Highly hopped for a Trippel. This makes for a nicely balanced beer. The beer is appropriately rich and the carbonation is at a level that balances it well. The pale malt comes across a bit oily due to the high level of alcohol. It's still a hop centric Trippel, but not at all extreme. This is a very easy to drink and a very good introduction to the Trippel.

473 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 9.1%. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Rich aroma of malts and orange marmalade. Rich flavour too, again distinct malts and notes of bitter orange marmalade, but also distinct piney / resinous and spicy hops. Tastes like a hybrid between a Belgian triple and an IPA.

Veiled dark straw color with faint activity. Extra foamy white 3-4 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with good legs and swirl reaction. Flavors of coriander, peach, apples, sweet grains, honey, Belgian yeast, and floral hops. Slick medium body with crispy carbonation. Strong strength spicy finish, grainy with a soft clovey effect and balanced flowery hops. Good attenuation. I like that it's very spicy yet nicely balance. Highly refreshing while the alcohol sensation is well hidden. Although the body could be improved with higher carbonation and smoothness, it's still highly drinkable. Overall excellent quality craft.
