Appearance: Very dark chestnut brow with barely any head
Smell: Very pronounced brown sugar and rich molasses aromas
Taste: Caramel, sugar and malt flavours with slight bitter aftertaste. Tawny aged port flavours are also noticeable.
Mouthfeel: Mildly carbonated
Overall: An unusual and curious beer that tastes like dessert. Sweet, rich brown sugar flavours are very pronounced. Unsurprisingly, since candy cap mushrooms were used in the brewing process. Reminds me of tawny port.
