This was underwhelming. Had on tap at the source. It was thin and dry, unfortunately. Quaffable for a sip or two. Could be richer, but rather was dull.

Potency 2020 Edition.
Drank on January 15th 2025.
I'm the only review here, so here we go.
Open 'er up. Pours very dark and has a thin tan head of foam that lasts a couple minutes at most.
Take a nice long sip.... Bang! Almost blew my cap off lol.
Now it's not that bad. Not like drinking whisky or anything, but for a beer its very strong, as evident on their bottle they arn't lying on the 11% ABV.
I had WalkerVille's 9.5% Imperial stout yesterday and that is a better beer, that is similar style to Potency here.
Price points are the about the same but i can tell you i would rather pick up WalkerVille's if given the choice between the 2.
Oh Yeah... 2nd bottle and still really strong. You could probably have a weight lifting competition between Potency 2020 Edition and Arnold Schwarzenegger 1987.... and i bet Potency would win.
Overall Potency isn't my thing, although i do like other Baltic Porters I've tried. I also like some of Black Bellows other beers but i probably won't buy Potency again. It's just not as flavorful as some of these other Baltic Porters.
