From a 404ml nitro can packaged on 02 10 25. Poured into a pint glass. A scant one finger fine brown head on an opaque very dark brown. Excellent head retention. A decent layer sticks around to the end. A generous collar of very fine lacing follows it down.

Sweet caramel and toffee malts in the nose. they diminish somewhat by the end. The taste follows the nose. Sweet malts., coffee and slightly bitter chocolate. The ABV is pretty well hidden at first, but creeps up eventually. A slightly bitter, chocolate aftertaste.

An extremely smooth and creamy texture. A medium plus body and light carbonation. Overall an excellent Imperial Stout. I am not well familiar with this style, but if you like Imperial Stouts this is well worth a try.

Beautiful thick foam of the half inch long lasting beige head. Nice cocoa aroma and taste (this is not a hot chocolate or chocolate milk sweetness but a bitter baking chocolate). Mouthfeel is smooth with no residual carbonation on the bitter sweet aftertaste.
If I had a second, I’d drink it. If I had a four pack, I would try to drink it all.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 404mL in a pint glass. From The Roundhouse Centre LCBO on Howard Ave. in nearby Windsor. Canned October 2/25. My 14th beer from the Blyth, Ontario brewery, and 1st for 2026. Lovingly adored by Gracie the cat...

Pours opaque black with cola edges in the glass. The head is small and dissipates to a tan ring quickly. The aroma is of roasted malts, astringent black patent malts, leather and peat. The taste is roasty with restrained dark chocolate notes and vanilla. A bit of alcohol heat in the back. The mouthfeel is full bodied with sparse carbonation. Light leafy hops struggles with the big roastyness in the finish.

A nice imperial stout with subtle chocolate notes.
