On draft at the brewery. The beer pours a very hazy orange color that would do any NE IPA proud. There was no head at delivery but lots of lacing.
The smell is citrus, mainly grapefruit, and a little pine resin.
The taste is bitter grapefruit, some pine, with a lingering bitter finish. The taste could use more citrus, IMO.
The mouthfeel is thick and low carbonation.
Overall this is a nice beer I really like. It would move up considerably of they reduced the bitterness and increased the citrus a bit.

A: Pours a deep hazed and golden orange color. A one finger white head forms, and recedes in a second. Not much lace to speak of.
S: Bitter hops, resin, soapy and oily. Grapefruit bitterness, and the bitterness last forever. One noted, and to much late addition hops from the start.
T: Like the nose, bitter grapefruit, oily, resiny hops. A "woody" hop character as well. The bitterness lasts forever. Seems like all late addition hops with no balance.
M/O: A full body with moderate carbonation. Slick, oily, and soapy. With the bitterness, this is a slow sipper, and one I am not coming back to often.
Not well balanced, with the overly bitter finish and soapy/oily hops. Not a bad attempt at a DIPA, but I have had much better.
