Ok, maybe it was psychological, but I thought this beer tasted like a tripel.
Had it on tap at the brewery. Cloudy yellow color with light head and lacing. Fruity smell and taste, like a tripel. When I commented as such to the bartender, he looked at me like I was nuts, so maybe it was psychological!
Hint of chocolate or coffee in the background. A good beer that has made me curious about other such stouts.
