Tannish orange, minimal head and lacing. Smell is a blend of mild juiciness and bitterness of hops over a coffee and chocolate undercurrent. Taste is reversed, as it’s more of a tangy citrusy juiciness that has highlights of coffee and chocolate popping up. Creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied, boozier than the six percent would indicate. It’s not bad, in that the hops keep the coffee and chocolate from being too powerful, but I can’t get behind coffee in APAs or IPAs under pretty much any circumstance.

Pours a hazy dark orange color with minimal head and lacing.

The smell is all chocolate and coffee.

The taste has a bit of citrus on the front and finishes with citrus but there's strong chocolate and coffee that dominates most of the flavor.

The mouthfeel is thick and oily.

This is a really good beer. Coffee IPAs are usually not my thing, but this is well done.
