Bought this as a crowler. Had high hopes. It is very off tasting - almost medicinal / sour. It's as though the batch is off or something is up with this particular crowler fill. My first from this brewer so too bad...

On tap at the grand opening today Slightly hazy deep golden color with a decent off white head. Sweet bready and light caramel maltiness. Light earthy pine and citrus hops. This was my favorite beer of the day, it is clean well made with no flaws. But, its not horribly hoppy in either the aroma flavor or bitterness for a double IPA.

On tap at the brewery on June 30, 2016.
Olive-yellow hazy pour with a modest white head.
Some pineapple hop aroma and a touch of toasted bread
The body is definitely smooth and medium.
The taste has a touch of pineapple sweetness but there is virtually no bitterness at the finish. For a beer that is over 8% ABV, I think was expecting more punch at the end.
