This was an absolutely wretched beer. I don’t think there was any trial run, just an idea and then production. It poured murky brown. It tasted raw and green. Burned in the mouth. Just awful

This is the second beer from this brewery that I've tried and I have to say i'm not impressed. The smell is super weird... and the taste is not good. Maybe it's expired? But I have no way of knowing there's no date on the can.

Poured into a Free Will 13 oz Teku glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a mahogany with a two inch cream colored head that leaves waves of lace behind with really nice retention. 4
Smell is odd and actually nice, cocoa nibs, coffee grounds, apricot, vanilla, and some grapefruit rind, what the heck is this? 4.25
Taste follows mocha, vanilla, with some pine, apricot, and grapefruit a coffee infused DIPA is what I am thinking? 4.5
Mouthfeel is big, plenty of life, a tad dry, and at 9% ABV dangerously drinkable and hits hard. 4.5
Overal this is probably not everyone’s jam, but I really didn’t know what to expect when I poured it and saw that odd color. Once I figured out what was going on, I said this stuff is damn tasty. Well done. 4.25
