Galaxy Hoppin' Pipe Dream Brewing IPA-American
Hops have a boozy- peach and thickly saturated tangy pineapple bite in a big way. The boozy heat is pretty high, sweet golden malts stand out in the balance. Dry, and heavy feel with three big hops are a palate bomb for sure.

It pours with a look like grapefruit juice with a white foamy head. Said head falls to a nice, persistent layer with tons of suds sticking to the glass, but it looks a tad watery.
The smell is citrus, passion fruit, and apricot, maybe a bit of bread, a bit of pineapple for sure. Pleasant and inviting.
The taste follows along opening with grapefruit blended with passion fruit and apricot. There is actually a decent bit of malt peeking through. There is a little spiciness at the end of the taste and a very mild bitterness, slight resinous character.
The feel is medium bodied, mildly carbonated, and there is a citrus resin build with repeated sips. Slightly dry.
Overall, a good brew but it doesn't separate itself from the infinite pack of beers in this style. Enjoyable and tasty for sure and I wouldn't turn one down. It is a nicely made, enjoyable and tasty Imperial IPA that is one of the multitude of similar beers in this style.

From the 16 oz. can. No date but I think it came out in early October 2018. I sampled it on November 5, 2018.
The pour is a milky, cloudy looking orange-amber with a modes but lingering white foamy head. Opaque.
The aroma brings out mainly fruit characteristics but they are a little different from typical fruity IPAs. I get more of an apple or pear sensation. A vague white bread presence too.
Medium to full mouthfeel.
The taste starts out with a quick bready sweetness but the bitter hops pile on at the end and linger for a bit on the finish.

Many thanks to SawDog505 for this can.
A - Dark grapefruit opaque/hazy pour with thin white soapy lacing.
S - Green citrus, peach, and passion fruit.
T - Passion fruit, peach, and some citrus, with some spiciness. A little bit of malt pokes through but not much.
M - Full, thick body. Semi-dry and eventually a layer of fruity resin starts to build.
O - Very well balanced.

[IMG] Pipe Dream Galaxy Hoppin’ 9% DIPA not sure when it was canned, but very recent. Pours a slightly cloudy dark orange with a finger plus sticky off white head that leaves a thin wall of lace as it slowly settles. 4.25
Smell is apricot, tangerine, caramel, pineapple, and grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows apricot and tangerine start the party, with some pineapple and grapefruit in the bold, yet balanced finish. 4
Mouthfeel is big and sticky, soft slightly gritty mouthfeel, with enough carbonation, and bold flavor that still drinks easy at 9%. 4.25
Overall this is a East/West Coast highbred for me, bold tropical flavors with some bite. 4
