This is one of the best smelling beers I've ever had. The smell reminds me of cinnamon roll flavored coffee. The flavor is predominantly maple syrup with a hint of cinnamon. The body is very light for the style. I would say medium bodied with a little syrup. Overall a very enjoyable beer.

From a 16 oz. can sampled on Nov 6, 2020.
Handsome looking black pour with a modest and fading tan head. Brown hues. The appearance was this beer's best feature.
The aroma is all about butterscotch and maple candy but little else. Perhaps a vague char character.
Medium mouthhfeel.
The taste is sweet and maple candy-like with that same butterscotch note and maybe just a little cinnamon. The 10% alcohol is well-hidden. This just did not turn me on.

I literally made this account on here just to report on this awful brew.
I drank it out of the can as I bought it, no glass could have done it any justice.
Thin on the mouth,
At first taste it was just pure ass.
Second sip I began to taste some of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch they were going for,
Third regrettable sip I really tasted it and it made me wonder if some sort of artificial flavoring has been added to make this flavor.
40 minutes later a severe migraine has set in.
I can legitimately say I have never had a worse beer in my life.
If you like torture of the mouth and severe migraines then this is for you

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass and as always not sure when it was canned. Pours a very dark near pitch black with a finger plus finger head that settles faster than a 14 year old boy at the Bunny Ranch leaving no lace at all. 3.5
Smell is the highlight almost like my wife’s French toast on a lazy Winter Sunday, cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla beans, and some toffee. 4
Taste follows but it really just does not gel, cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla, and toffee but it leaves me wishing it lived up to the nose. Again sadly it does not, wondering if on draft it may have and it may be scanning issue. 3.5
Mouthfeel again is where this loses steam thinner than a 10.0 ABV Stout should be, watery and way under-carbonated, not dry at all and sadly that kind of ruins it from the hearty Stouts I crave, and little alcohol detected not a complaint with that but not stouty at all. 3
Overall this is once again is a beer that gave me hope that they had the canning issues fixed, but sadly no. Really underwhelming and at a hefty $17 a 4 pack pounders price. Canning system needs to be checked and I hate to crap on a local brew but I keep being let down by them and paying premium for it. 3.25
