On tap at Flyway Brewing's Gastropub, Brood & Barely.
A: Pours a ruby reddish color. A one finger white head forms with good retention and lace left behind.
S: Rum barrel aromas up front. Wood, vanilla, sugar. Malty aromas of raisins and dark fruits.
T: Like the nose, some wood flavors. Though it is subtle. Some vanilla, and plenty of sweetness and alcohol. Raisins, plums and dark fruits mingle in there. This could have a bit more malt depth of flavor.
M/O: A full body and moderate carbonation. This becomes a bit syrupy. Definitely a big alcohol presents. It becomes a decent warming sipper after I get use to the alcohol punch.
This could have a bit more depth, and more rounded flavors. Though it will work for a decent closing sipper at the gastropub/restaurant.
