Not too hoppy, not too heavy; just Naughty enough.... Two Row, Pale Ale and Wheat malts form a balanced foundation that refuses to be overpowered by the Hop Spanker's even-handed extraction of hop aromas and flavors. Citrus, green tea and tropical fruits deliver a few extra 'licks' of their own giving you the tongue-lashing you've been waiting for.

lovely stuff here, fresh as can be, not a hazy type but not super clear either, more of the unfiltered look at most, light chill haze, still glowing and real pale in the glass, even in a dimly lit bar, normal inch of white foam on top but with pretty white lacing emerging as i drink it down. the aroma and flavor are both extremely fresh to me, and bold without being green or biting. meyer lemon, fresh spruce, mowed lawn, and green grape fruity and herbal character emerges to my senses, its got some oily weight to it in the west coast fashion like its setting up for this huge bitter finish, but then it just kind of hits middle of the road there, no real intensity at the end or anything, making it quite drinkable. i like them keeping the malt this light, no need for more body or grain flavor, nicely restrained, i know that can be hard for some west coast breweries to do. love the balance and the super clean ferment, i like the aftertaste too. a great introduction to a brewery i had never heard of before. real enjoyable pint here, seems like they got a good thing going with this one! to me this is better than its ratings...

Pours slightly hazy, copper in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is dank hops and mango. Medium body, bitter with moderate carbonation. Makes for a slightly above average west coast style ipa. Decent and probably great fresh but nothing I need to order again. I would like this even more dank.

Pours golden, copper in color with a fair amount of head that dissipates to a thin layer. Lacing on the glass as you drink. Aroma is of candied tropical fruits, earthiness and a bit of spice. Taste follows the nose pretty well. Zesty hops on the tongue up front (lemon/citrus mostly), balanced in the middle with a solid, light malt profile and some earthiness. Finishes crisp with lingering grapefruit rind and a hint of maltiness. Mouthfeel is medium with active carbonation and a bit of chewiness. Easy drinker, if a little acidic. Overall a solid brew with a unique hop profile.

West Coast IPA, although it is slightly hazy. Gold color, nice head, good lacing.
Very unique aroma and taste - the label says it's a combo of citrus, tropical fruits, and green tea.(?) Made with Hallertau Blanc and El Dorado hops. Definitely a bit sweet.
Medium feel, good carbonation, solid but not overbearing bitterness, clean finish.
Solid IPA with a unique flavor profile.
