We packed the Hop Spanker full of Azacca, Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo hops, not once but twice to supply The BrotherMaker with a double dose of hop homies. 20Row, Pale Ale and Wheat back up this heavy hitting line up with a balanced malty sweetness.

Pours clear, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is pine and grapefruit. Heavy bodied, oily, bitter, moderate carbonation. Makes for an average to slightly below average double ipa. Bitter but the flavors still seem a bit muted. I feel like I have had this beer or a beer very similar to it before. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing I need to rush out for again either.

L: cloudy dark orange with small white head. Some small lacing.
S: all orange and citrus here, very little hops at the back end.
T: citrus flavors hit first and then a decent hop profile, bitter aftertaste.
F: good solid feel, very dry finish.
O: little too much citrus flavor for me, but I tend to lean towards WC IPA's in general. It's good but not great.
