Canned 5/4/18.
Look: Golden straw yellow in color. Unfiltered in presence. 2 fingers worth of head, which settle rapidly leaving generous amounts of lacing.
Smell: Sweet doughy malt with notes of pepper and lemon. Some floral aromas as well.
Taste: Rich, sweet malt backbone with lingers throughout entirety of taste. Slight citrus flavor as well, mostly lemon, with an earthy/floral hop flavor. Malts are the star of the show, and leaves a residual sweet lingering taste in mouth.
Feel: Medium in body and in weight, perhaps a little more hefty compared to other APAs. Moderate carbonation for the style, giving slight fizz feel.
Overall: Simple, straight-forward and easy to drink. Tastes nice on this warm day. Wish the malt flavor was dialed back a smidge. I am grateful to have tried. Cheers!
