Pours hazy, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is papaya, mango, and blueberry jam and orange juice. Slightly bitter, medium body, with moderate carbonation. Makes for a solid New England ipa. Very similar to the non alcoholic version. The berry shines more here and there is more body but both are quite good.

In an attempt to write an exceptionally condensed & very understated beer review, I found myself compelled to say: I really liked this beer very much.

L: The beer pours straw yellow in color. Hazy appearance, but looks slightly on the clear side most likely due to age. About a finger of a white cap that settled rapidly. Generous amounts of residual lacing cling to the glass.
S: Hardly any smell to it. I get some peach, melon, papaya, orange, lemon and mango. Slight presence of pine and grass. Nice smelling, just wish it wasn't so hidden.
T: Very melon and citrus-forward with notes of mango and stonefruit on the backend. Finish is slightly dry with lingering herbally flavors mixed with citrus and melon.
F: Light in body and in weight. Somewhat watery in nature. Carbonation is moderate for the other beers in the style, providing slight fizz on the tongue.
O: I think this is a great beer. I can't help but wonder how it is when it's fresh. I wouldn't mind seeking this out when it is re-released. I am very glad to have tried. Always neat trying local brews! Cheers!

Appearance - Pours hazy and straw yellow in color with an off-white, near finger width head. Fair retention before dissipating to a mostly barren surface with a fair ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A few small spots make up the lacing.
Smell - The aroma hits on tangerine, mango and a hint of pineapple.
Taste - Follows the nose with bright and juicy fruit flavors. Tangerine, guava and a touch of pineapple. Malts come through with a touch of generic white bread sweetness. Quick to the finish with lingering fruitiness.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with light carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Nice citrus and tropical flavor, but lacks some depth to be a top-tier hazy.
