Another beer drank in June 2019 around the pool. Not too many of these pool reviews left, but hey, river reviews are just as good! First review of this beer on BA.
Pours a clean golden to light amber pour with impressive 1/2" white head on top. She is a sexy beer. The aroma, I dunno, sometimes there is the ol' diminishing returns when you drop like 7 different hop varieties into a beer. Result is the familiar hodgepodge of hops that results in the common bittering hop aromas, pine and grapefruit rind.
I dig the taste, all those old school hops I have growing at my house (Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, CTZ) pushing such a heady grapefruit and pine bitterness and taste profile throughout, Comet helped out in that department too I imagine. Good dry character to the malt bill and mouth feel. So its old school hops through a minimal west coast malt scenario instead of those ibu war crystal malt iterations that these hops used to be bound to recipe wise back in the day. I dug it. Decent at hiding alcohol.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
