This is the brewery’s flagship beer. Having this on-tap at the brewery. Served in a Hefeweizen glass, this beer draws a mostly cloudy/hazy medium golden color with a nice, white head that’s about half an inch thick when first drawn and served that eventually settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with some cluster swirls of surface foam and some good lacing too. Aromas of some bready malts and wheat along with banana and clove are all nicely present. The taste is pretty much the same the same, with some some bready malt and wheat along with banana sweetness, some clove and a bit of peppery spice. Only a slight touch of hops. Has a mostly crisp, yet smooth, slightly prickly, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Easy to drink in the way good beer ought to be. Has a clean finish. Spot on for the style, absolutely!
