Got a sample pour of this in-tap at the brewery. This beer draws a clear, solid, medium to dark red/amber color with a just slightly off-white head with big air bubbles. Head's about half an inch thick when first served, and settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass with little spots of surface foam and good lacing. Aromas of somewhat roasted caramel malt sweetness along with some earthy and piney hops. The taste is pretty much the same, with fairly roasted caramel malt sweetness that also provides just a hint of nuttiness and that gives way to a nice piney and earthy hop bitterness. Break nice balance of flavors. Has a air it crisp, yet smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a slightly dry aftertaste. Easy to drink in a good way.
