Having this on-tap at the brewery. Served in a standard pint glass, this beer draws a somewhat cloudy/hazy light, bright golden color with a nice white head that’s about 2/3 to half an inch thick when first poured that settles to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass with good lacing. Aromas of some bready malts and dank, resinous, herbal, piney, earthy hops. The taste is pretty much the same, with somewhat bready, slightly sweet malts with a piney, slightly citrusy, herbal, slightly peppery, earthy hop bitterness. While not overly bitter, the hop flavors certainly dominate the way they should. Has a crisp, slightly prickly, yet smooth and slightly frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate to heavy carbonation. Has a clean finish and slightly dry aftertaste. Easy to drink in the way good beer ought to be.
