Copenhagen 20/7 2025. 33 cl can from Systembolaget, Emporia, Hyllie. Black can with a golden "10" for belebratig Hylie Bryggeri's first anniversary.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer for foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor trying in vain to cover up the scent of dark alcohol. Brown sugar, toffee and caramel, Honey and syrup. Sweet dark liqueur.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, fat, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter Sith a strong sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with a touch of alcohol.
A potent celebration.

Pours jet black with fine, tan head.
Smell is roasted with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, nuts and a hint of maple syrup.
Taste is roasted with a solid bitterness. Notes of coffee, coffee grounds, dark chocolate and licorice with a hint of sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium to full with good carbonation.
Overall, a very nice stout. Would have liked a bit more maple, and it will probably smooth out with a little aging.
