this place is amazing, one of the coolest brewery visits i have had in a long time, a place that has been on my radar for years but finally was able to make it out there, we had an incredible time taking it all in. its right off a busy road but seems miles from anywhere, a hazelnut farm with a small and kind of run down looking white farmhouse from the outside houses both the production and the bar area, the latter being mostly outside, maybe due to the pandemic, but it was just a walk up bar counter with a menu tacked to the side of the building. there are a ton of picnic tables outside, some covered, and a grassy area over with some chairs and barrels over in a shaded grassy area, so calm and mellow here right from the second we parked. i was blown away by their list of beers, a little bit of everything i wanted to try from blended wild beer to funky ipa to saisons of all types, it was just awesome. i loved the douglas fir grisette, the bloom coffee biere de garde, the farmhouse ipa with mustard blossoms, and honestly pretty much all of it, but those were the stars. such clever recipes and neat execution here, they really deserve their reputation from a beer quality and innovation standpoint. it was great to hang out here, everyone was really nice, the space was incredible, and the beer speaks for itself. no food but we brought a nice picnic, it really was a perfect day and it totally lived up to my really high expectations. if you are in this part of the world, this place is worth going out of your way for, i already cant wait to go back again!

Pretty easy to find off a road just north of Newberg.
Parking lot is gravel and was almost full when i got there.
Lots of couples and young families sitting out side on the haphazerly placed picnic tables. Good peaceful vibe..though i felt old at 53..
Inside , looks like a convreted barn.has a small bar and a few scattered chairs. Not huge tap list..they had 6 on ..the ones i tasted were excellent though. They had some 4 pack cans and only 2 bottles for sale..which i bought.
Prices were excellent for such good beer..
Server today wasnt very well educated on the beer..he was filling in for the usual people who were at a fest or whatever.
But nice guy.
Overall i liked this..again very young crowd

This place seems like it has a really carefully designed modern-retro look, but I think it just comes off that way by naturally having a genuine interest in the classic Saison, while procuring such a fitting piece of property.

Their gravel driveway leads straight into their cute little beer garden with picnic tables, hanging lights and a photo-op ready W&P logo perfectly placed in the center of the white barn.

Inside is very rustic looking brewing equipment to your right and a small walk up bar to your left, with some to-go bottles and other swag on display in a cabinet. It's very small and quaint, with a very moderate draft list that does seem to make room for guest taps or bottles when possible.

Everything still seems to be just starting up, but they are already making some unique farmhouse ales, as well as a good, clean pilsener.

This out of the way brewery is in beautiful country. No TV. The brewery is rustically beautiful. Staff is helpful and friendly. If there is music, it is good. Instinctive travels is the best farmhouse ale I have ever tried. I generally don't go for sours or beers with fruit added but I a absolutely loved the toeval and jarabees. Do yourself a favor and visit!

A very simple basic place on a farm just outside of Newberg. We were here near closing time so it was pretty quiet. Looks like it would be a fun social atmosphere on a busy afternoon or evening. The beers were subtle rather than being in-your-face, pleasant but not overly complex. This is brewery to watch!
