A little disappointed in the color, only because it is much closer to a Amber/Red Ale than a Brown Ale. Color is reddish-brown with a lightly tanned head that dissipates quickly leaving some nice lacing that clings to the glass. I added this as an 'American Brown Ale,' but I think 'English Brown Ale' would probably be more accurate. Aroma is nutty and malty. Taste is kind of dull; similar to the aroma with semi-sweet maltiness being most dominant. Body is light, and the medium carbonation gives it a moderately dry finish.
Overall, ok, but nothing too special.
