Dark orange/brown colour with a nice foamy head. Bourbon barrel smell.
The taste is sweet, as expected from a quadrupel, but clearly enriched by the barrel aging. Everything is surrounded in a oak - whiskey feel, with some caramel notes in the back and very little coffee taste. Some dried prunes and raisins present.
A really good experiment. I think the best offering in Oriel's line.

Copper color with tan head. Aroma is fruity and boozy with dark fruit notes like raisins and brown sugar. Taste is sweet, astringent, fruity and boozy with whiskey soaked raisins and molasses. Light to medium body with dry mouthfeel. It's quite harsh but some age would definitely improve it.
