Slightly hazy amber color with a thick head and leaving traces.
Aroma with notes of candi sugar, orange marmalade, pine and banana.
Flavor with notes of candi sugar, pine cones, faint bubblegum, pineapple, pears, a bit of white pepper and mild booze. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 8.5% is well hidden.
Well-done Belgian Strong Ale with a nice variety of flavors. Faithful to style.

Thanks to family for bringing it back from Brazil, best before 5/04/19
Big foamy creamy head, good retention and lacing, crystal clear tan pale color
Nose big sweet candy malts, blonde Belgian golden malts, candi sugar, nice fruity esters and hint of phenols, banana, bubblegum, apple pear, spices, a slight touch solventy
Taste more of the same, but sweet golden malts, candi sugar, honey notes, rock candi, little citrus, fruity esters, banana, pear, bubblegum, etc, mild phenol spices as well, a touch of bitterness on the back end, nice grain bread
Mouth is med to fuller bod, decent carb, no real alcohol
Overall pretty good, well done for the style, maybe a bit more malt and alcohol presence surprisingly
