Pours an effervescent hazel color with a thumb of tan head. Sub-par lacing & head retention
S: Figgyness, raisins
T: Follows the nose , pears & dryness up front, some candi sugar notes to be sure. Some mushroomy notes as this warms ( something I really noticed in Chimay offerings ) , plus boozey figs. Finishes dry with leafy hops. pears & a little dirt/mushroom
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation
A solid take on the style, liked this better on draft, boozeyness is well hidden
