Pours an effervescent mahogany with a slight auburn tinge and 2 fingers of fluffed up mocha colored head. Decent lacing & below average head retention
S: A lot of coffee, some chiles and a touch of vanilla
T: Much coffee, a little vanilla, dryness up front. Some dark chocolate surfaces along with plenty of dryness, less coffee and even less vanilla as this warms. Finishes with a bit of acrid coffee, bean, dark chocolate & dryness
MF: Medium body with fairly firm carbonation, body thins out a touch when warm
Pretty solid for the style, nice drinkablity, wish the coffee would've started as strong as it finished. This is on the verge of excellence

L - Pure velvet black, with rich mocha head and good retention of the lace.
S - Fresh brewed, dark roast coffee laced with chipotles and cinnamon
T - Malt is roasted to perfection. Slight chipotle heat in the backend, with chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla up front. 10.5% ABV hidden superbly. Warmth is there, but not in the forefront.
F - Excellent mouth/tongue coating. Very rich, but not too sweet that it lingers uncomfortably. Very balanced feel.
Overall - An amazing Imperial Stout with a Mexican flair. This is a stout crossed with Mexican Hot Chocolate and it's really well done.
