Pours an effervescent hazel with rapidly falling tan head, near zero lacing & head retention
S: Toastyness, boozey barrel notes as this warms
T: Follows the nose, pretty darn dry, just a little coffee & just a little caramel up front. A slight sourness comes through as this warms, I presume from the barrel fermentation along with toasty dryness, coffee & a little caramel. Finishes dry, toasty with a little coffee
MF: Medium body, moderate carbonation
An interesting beer was hoping for a little deeper flavor profile & more body
