pours very clear, even though event says unfiltered, straw yellow with a touch of gold. Half finger white head.
Smells of light pilsner malt with fruit sweetness.
Taste is on the sweeter side. Fruit juice, white grapes predominately. Floral and grassy hops. Slight pleasant bitterness. I get cereal-like flavors too on the back end.
Light bodied and extremely crisp. High carbonation cleanses the palate. Fizzy and lively. Grape juice sweetness lingers somewhat.
Really impressed with this lager. Never had a Helles style but this is really good. Light and clean with nice blend of flavors. Carries a lot more than some other one dimensional lagers that just showcase pilsner malt.
