Fruits have long been incorporated in the brewing of beer, particularly in Belgium. The brewing traditions of this stylistically prolific nation are the inspiration for Brewers’ Cut Kriek, a Belgian-style Brown Ale of subtle caramel and dark malt character aged with tart cherries from the Willamette Valley. The beer finishes clean and dry, with a hint of cherry pie enticing you back for more.

Nottttt quite in the same stratosphere as other beers given the moniker Kriek, but it's a more of a nice phenolic Belgian dubbel that's a little darker and more malty than you'd expect.

This is the first fruit beer I've ever liked. The cherry flavor is notable without dominating. This beer is not sour or particularly sweet. Give it a try. It's a fruit beer for those of us who don't like lambics or their ilk.

Hard to review as it's so different than most when you think "Kriek" Beer.
Cherries take a back seat, definitely let this one warm up a bit.
Aroma gives you some wild yeast esters with some maltiness, then the cherries are just barely there in the background.
I had no idea what to expect in the taste with a Belgian style Brown Ale being the advertised flavor from Real Ale. As another reviewer (goochpunch) said, Belgian dubbel. Completely agree. If you try this, expect a dubbel with some light cherry hints in the aftertaste. Do not buy it expecting a Kriek Lambic (it is Not billed as such from the brewery but sometimes that's where a shopper's mind goes when they see the word Kriek, that's all). Decent if you know what to expect.

Pours a darker coppery color with off-white head. Cherries, caramel malts, and a bittersweet note on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied, decent carbonation. Finishes with more of a sweet cherry than a tart cherry note.

Reddish and cloudy, some head, looks like other krieks I've had (which are few).
A good wile ale, all the usual suspects for the style, cherries are there but not really heavy.
An interesting one to come out of RABC. I like that they take chances in a conservative state and make beers that the state legislature probably wants to ban because to go against bud light means to go against nature.

Good beer but the cherries are absent. I was expecting more
