Modest head and light straw color. There is a light, floral aroma and medium carbination. Overall, this is a balanced lager. It is a touch less malty than most Helles I've had and a bit more tart. A bit of sour and spice are in the mix to tickle the tongue. An Interesting, easy drinking brew

L: Pours a cloudy pale gold color with a thin white head that leaves the glass quickly.
S: Grainy-sweet-malt aroma, smells slightly fruity, low hop aromas.
T: Starts off malty, somewhat bready, ends with a little bit of hoppy bitterness.
F: Medium-bodied, high carbonation, crisp.
O: Decent beer for it's style.

Smell: Pleasant biscuity malt, slightly sweet cereal; clean, grassy Noble hops.
Taste: Light, smooth malty base with nicely spicy, grassy hops and crisp, bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Light body with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Clean, crisp and refreshing, with a good dose of Noble hops.

I tried this because I found another helles style beer that I really liked and wanted to compare. I wasn't impressed.

From the coasts of south padre island, to the piney woods of east texas; from the plains of the panhandle to the mountains of el paso. This beer surpasses expectations as if it were your first experience eating nilgai. excellent brew from the boys in blanco. cheers

12 fl oz can nabbed at a beer store in Austin, TX.
Hop profile is grassy and spicy; I suspect Noble hops (Spalt, maybe?). Malt profile is clean and crisp. Light-bodied and approachable, with an easy drinking refreshing texture. Pilsner malt, Munich malt.
Somewhat soft. Clean and enjoyable, though limited in terms of complexity and depth of flavour. A surprisingly true to style and tasty beer from Real Ale. I'd happily share a pitcher of this with friends over pizza or relish it cold in a stangenglas.

From a 12 oz. can dated bb 5/12/17 into a pils glass. Lite gold, semi cloudy, two finger head that dissapates to a ring and lite lacing.
Smells of soap, yeast, lemon grass, clover, grain.
Taste is spot on to smell, with more yeasty grain and malt.
Smooth, for a lack of a better word. No wateriness ( is that a word?) here.
Love this beer Buy it every year when it comes out. Real Ale does good beer!

A: Bright gold, modest very white head.
S: Strong scent of clean pils malt, not too grainy,
T: Sweet malt flavor, a little crackery, low bitterness and not much noticeable. Clean finish.
M: Medium body, smooth texture.
O: Solid helles. Not an exciting beer, but an easily drinkable one.
