Had this on tap at a local pub, served in a snifter.
Dark golden brown color with a nice heading and beautiful lacing. Strong dark fruit smell and taste. Flavors include figs, dates, prunes, dark raisins and a hint of cinnamon. Very enjoyable quad and one of th better I have had.

Tastes very much like a good stout. Has nice whiskey overtones. Not an easy-drinking beer, but very rich. Would go well with tobacco.
