A very traditional-tasting gose, in that I got no tequila notes. Wheat, salt: that's all. Good marks across the board for tradition.

A very well balanced sour; zesty lime with a touch of funk; convinced myself I can taste the tequila barrels. Very unique, impressive, and sip-able but not one of my favs.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy goldenstraw with a rather thin cap that fades to a film; squiggles of lacing hang around
Smell: Lactic Tequila tones, with hints of oak and salt
Taste: Lactic lime and Tequila tones forward, with a building salty character; increasingly tart, through the middle, with the oak and Tequila adding complexity; the finish is tart and salty
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Having had mixed experiences with Tequila barrel beers, I wasn't sure what to expect; I was more than pleased with this beer and the barrel aging of the Gose in Tequila was pure creative genius
Thanks, Texasfan549, for the opportunity
