A historic style from Northern Germany, Gose is a slightly sour wheat beer known for hints of coriander and a unique saltiness. For a festive twist on the style, we add cranberry puree to the fermenter. The result is a delightfully dry and refreshingly tart beer full of familiar flavors to help you welcome the cooler temperatures and changing leaves.

underrated here in my opinion, this is very light, summery, and crushable, not too sour, and without too much fruit. the cranberry is an accent, its natural and not forced, and this drinks about as easy as any sour i have known. if you want a more striking gose, you will have to look elsewhere. clean as the lactic element here is, its mild, and the salt part is pretty subtle too, so really its just a lightly tart wheat beer with a hint of cranberry, which in hot weather is pretty ideal. my lady loved this, pounded it actually, and i found myself sipping pretty quickly too. it has a light floral coriander sort of aspect to it, and the natural tang of the cranberry there in nose and taste, minerals more than brine at the end, but it helps dry it out. i like that the wheat malt can still be tasted and appreciated here too, and its very well carbonated, almost like a soda in the absence of much body. the whole thing could be about 20% more dramatic, but i like it being understated as well, and think it leads to increased session potential. i have still been pretty up and down on the beers these guys make, but this is definitely one of the good ones! try it on a hot day right from the can!
