Fresh Kicks is inspired by Hazy IPAs from the Northeast . A blend of Azacca, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops, added to the whirlpool and also at multiple times in the fermentation process, produces hop flavors and aromas that mimic the addition of ripe tropical fruits. 40 IBU

Pale hazy gold to the pour, foamy head, not to large. Nose shows citrus and floral.
Taste shows citrus (both ripe and green), some mild pineapple, light kilned malt. Finish is light citrus, hint of tang. Good crusher.

Saison-like qualities is this tamped down hazy. Dry, brown grass and earth in my pie hole. Dry and faint spruce tips. Mild in a good way, like your sister. And to those reviewers who say the sediment is off-putting, you probably eat your tacos with a fork.

Poured from a can dated best by 11/21/23
Appearance is cloudy golden yellow color, thin head and soapy lacing.I marked the appearance down a little because of some big flakes of sediment
Aroma is definitely citrus and a bit earthy, a hit of yeast
Taste is citrusy but more citrus rind type of taste kind of lemon, orange and lime
Mouth feel is a bit sticky up front to a dry slightly astringent finish, just the right bite in my opinion medium carbonation
Overall it’s a refreshing fairly easy drinking beer, to me the sediment had no bearing on the taste what so ever

Poured from a can. Orangish in color and hazy with some sediment. Smells strongly of citrus, also earthy grains and grass. Flavor is very citrus also with flavors of orange, lemon, maybe mango and grapefruit. Feels very nice like. Flavor is very good, sediment is slightly of putting but nothing to bad. Good!

The pour on the head is largely missing. It may have lasted for 6.7 seconds. I was in shock when I noticed a bunch of stuff floating around in my glass. I am glad I check it for clean, because it looked chunky when I poured it. It still has stuff on the bottom, looks like pieces of bread. The smell and taste are as expected, but that bread...

super bright and tasty, maybe not quite as original as their impressive hop sprocket, but an all day every day sort of hazy, sunny and lighter than many on the grain side, nice and fresh, cleanly fermented, exceedingly well done overall, my father in law and i both really dug it. softly hazy, blonde to super light orange tinted, frothy headed. the nose here is cool, it has that sort of biotransformation hop intensity, more than just dry hopping, juicy and overripe stone fruit, lemongrass, orange, and even a little northwestern hop spiciness, uncommon in these but it works, less intense than cascade, not sure what hops do that in this, but its a cool feature, freshness is on point. minimal on the malt side in aroma and flavor too, really not much there at all, i like it for what it isnt though, not all oaty and full of starch and protein, not raw and earthy and wheat heavy, its just simple, fluffy, and a good out of the way vector for these hops. some nice minerals in the brewing water here, sets up the hops well. pineapple, generic citrus, green grape, dried apricot, and peppy terpene character really pops at the end, they did a great job getting the most out of these hops without making this green or harsh in the least, and it warms up super well too. maybe ever so slightly yeasty, but in a complimentary way, not unclean or incomplete or anything. real tasty beer overall, lighter than many, and thirst quenching even for the style. bravo!

Pours a nicely hazy straw color with a creamy white head that provides maximal lacing. Dank citrus aromas dominate the nose, with tangerine, grapefruit rind, and a bit of passion fruit and some berries. Definitely a Mosaic-hopped beer.
The taste is all about that dank citrus, with tangerine and grapefruit rind most prominent, but backed up by a nice dollop of berry flavors at the back of the palate. The medium mouthfeel is on the softer side and fits the style.
This is a very crushable hazy, especially if you like Mosaic hops. Guilty as charged, your honor.

Stovepipe excitement! Pours slightly hazy. Pineapple, orange, and guava on the nose, followed by the sip. Decent, forgettable. I am a little let down by this one.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a rather hazy yellow-amber color with a head of white foam. The head has a moderate retention, fading to leave a ton of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a grapefruit hop and a lot of tropical fruits of mango, papaya, tangerine and pineapple. Along with these aromas comes notes of herbal and grassy hops as well as some bready and doughy smells.
Taste – The taste starts out with a with a strong grapefruit hop presence and some bready malt tastes. At the same time there is a bit of tangerine and mango as well as a touch of lemon and pine. AS the taste advances the pine gets a bit stronger and is joined by some herbal hop. At the same time the grapefruit gets a bit weaker, although it still remains the heaviest hop flavor by far. A touch of grain and a slight lessening of the sweet come at the very end combining with the rest to leave on with a rather citrus heavy, but still balanced taste.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker and more chewy with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. For the style and the tastes the feel is good and makes for an easy and flavorful sipper.
Overall – A rather nice easy drinking and citrus heavy hazy.

June 18, 2024 - this time I enjoyed it on top at the flying saucer in Fort Worth Texas. It is delightfully hazy bright yellow gold colored with the white head. The aroma has lots of money interestingly enough, the aroma is much as I remembered before (see review) that I would add that this time I'm also picking up some peaches and a tiny bit of mango and lemon.
