We were asked to make the most citrus-forward hazy pale ale we could, so we started with a blend of hops known for producing big citrus flavors and aromas. Then, we added fistfuls of lemon and sweet orange peel. Finally, we fermented the “juice” with a variety of Kveik yeast that throws down crazy pineapple esters. When you drink it, you will understand how Real things can get.

Gorgeous almost cloud like white head sits above a hazy washout honey golden colored beer, looks damn tasty for the New England style beers that I have fallen in thirst with. Nice lighter aroma with some normal hops characteristics coming through, though I wish there had been a bit more, Light hops, light grains, coming through in an easy drinking lighter NE style IPA from what I can tell. Lightness and dryness in the aftertaste but also seems a bit wet (or something) for this style, but still very acceptable and I will try to have another and another, etc.

Nice citrus taste without the weight of an ipa. Great summer beer.
