Very dry. Medium mouth-feel and medium carbonation.

A- unfiltered light golden color. Little head forms, small amounts of lacing is left behind. Carbonation is on the lower end, but ends up working well for the beer.

S- The oaks really pop out in the front, sweet malts, a bit of vanilla, very woody throughout.

T- The oak is up front again in the flavor, very sweet, like an old barley wine. lots of fruits, and bit of citrus.

M- medium body, low carbonation, silky smooth,

O - This beer with a bit of age on it was great. I immediately had a second. The drink-ability with the high complexity was amazing.

This is the barrel-aged version of the Real Ale 13th Anniversary Belgian pale ale.

Half pint served at the Plano Gingerman. The beer pours a golden-copper color with a white head. The aroma is orange and other citrus with some biscuit malts, floral hops and oak. The flavor is oak, bready malts, alcohol, candi-sugar, fruits (apples, oranges, pears, tangerines), pepper and vanilla. Very dry. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

On tap at the Gingerman's 25th Anniversary party.

A: Pours a clear golden orange color. A small white head forms, and recedes in a second. Light lace is left behind.
S: Tart fruits up front. Apples and pears are present. Dry wood and oak. Some vanilla lingers. Lots of complexities in the nose.
T: Slightly tart fruits. I get a lot of apples. Dry wood and some yeast lingers.
M/D: A medium body and carbonation. Fairly creamy and smooth. Really easy to drink. I put a few away with ease, and could have had more.

A really good barrel aged beer. Lots of complexities and really easy to drink. Something I would recommend if you can find it.
