Waves of tropical aroma swell from the can, carrying you to a relaxing beachside in a faraway place. With just enough balancing bitterness to anchor your toes firmly in the sand, Wave Ratio helps you to kick back in your lounge chair and feel the breeze as it drifts by.

Ford from a tall boy can into a pint glass, extremely attractive bright gold/honey colored liquid with a large white fluffy head

Subtle aroma, but not subtle flavor lots of tropical fruit especially mango, pineapple, and orange some spices too.

Very Floral and lots of floral hops but very little bitter, which seems strange since this is described as a tropical IPA, but I like it, I like it a lot.

Real Ale continues to blow me away, as they have for more than 20 years. Bravo!

Best by 5/2/24. drank 1/25/24
Pour is a cloudy - think hefe - golden / light copper. huge, fluffy, off white head. excellent retention
Nose is tropical fruit, coconut,
Taste is light tropical fruits, some coconut. very light on the bitterness; definitely needs more in my opinion.
No flaws in the beer, just not how I want my IPA. Although, I suppose, you could argue not enough bitterness in an IPA is inherently a flaw...but I have no doubt they brewed exactly what they were going for in this (unfortunate) world of low bitterness IPAs being popular.
