Imperial Blonde Ale. Wrist Rocket is an easy drinking and well-rounded beer, not unlike that award-winning blonde ale you all know and love - Firemans #4. Like a Firemans, this ride is smooth and crisp, with notes of apricot and honey, and a pleasant golden hue. But don’t be deluded by the light body and sessionable mouthfeel, this blonde hits different, weighing in at a formidable 8.5% ABV.

Hi ABV blond ale so that is an oxymoron living inside a paradox. Heavier mouthfeel, tight and bubbly carbonation- taste is deep and trends towards a Belgian maybe some banana and cloves? Faint white pepper and honeysuckle. Real Ale is a blue collar brewery that punches above its price tag.

Poured into a glass from a can. It has a foamy head and golden cloudy color. The smell is full of honey. Smooth but heavy feel. Can definitely taste the hint of honey in it.

I didn't know what to expect from an "imperial blonde ale" but I like the result.
Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass, it is an an attractive bright gold hazy liquid with a white head that quickly dissipates.
Very pleasant malty aroma which carries into the flavor. Very malty but not too sweet. Some hops but not too much. Very balanced.
Full mouthfeel.
This one is a good one, another delightful selection from Real Ale Brewing.

Appearance: A hazy medium golden body is crowned by a moderate, dense white head, with excellent retention. Thick, finely beaded lacing coats the glass in an unbroken sheet. Profuse, fine bubbles drift lazily to the surface in numerous streams.
Aroma: White bread malt and a bit of honey dominate the aroma, with a grassy and mild herbal hop presence.
Taste: Opens with slight notes of white bread and honey, with a mild undercurrent of warming, lightly sweet alcohol. As the taste progresses, the hops rise to a moderate bitterness, and linger on to bring the taste to a gracious close.
Mouth fee: Rich, smooth and full, with slight champagne-like carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: Wonderfully made, a gracious and very drinkable ale that packs a gracious punch. This would pair well with New York-style cheesecake.
Presentation: Packaged in a twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Typically, I don’t like blonde ale. I love this beer. It has such a rich flavor and a hard hitting ABV. It reminds me of a quadruple. I’ve never had an imperial style blonde but I am a fan of them now because of this beer.
