West Coast IPA. In a world of craft beer noise, sometimes it's necessary to reflect. In that spirit, we go back to the roots of craft beer with a modern interpretation of a West Coast IPA. A restrained yet refined malt bill allows a hefty Strata dry hop to shine. We taste guava, strawberry, and a subtle dankness.

A: Pours with a light haze, a golden yellow color. A small white head forms with lace left behind.
S: Fruity melon and berry aromas up front. Fairly simple, and fruit forward but still enjoyable.
T: Like the nose, melon and berry flavors. Lightly juicy with a honey like sweetness, lingering bitterness.
M/O: A medium to full body. Moderate carbonation, and a bit slick and soapy. Not a perfect IPA for me, though still really enjoyable for the most part. I can have some more.
I would like this to be a little more crisp, and a little less slick. Though other than that, a well done Strata hopped IPA. Not my personal preference, but still enjoyable, and I'll look to get some cans when I see them.
