Poured from a can. Brewer says it is a dry Irish stout with cocoa nibs.
Pours a thick dark brown with ruby edges. A coarse chunky brown head fades to a thin scattered layer.
Smells of sweet milk chocolate, roasted barley, and a bit of coffee.
Taste is similar, with bittersweet chocolate and coffee with cream.
Feels decent, light body and smooth. A dry finish is balanced by the chocolate flavors, giving it an added complexity. Very drinkable.
Overall, pretty nice. Glad to try it!
