Poured from a pint can into a pint glass. Two fingered white head, very nice lacing thru out the consumption. The body of the beer is a pale yellow, translucent until you pour it all out. Then you pick up the haziness of an NEIPA. Great aroma of citrus and herbs. The first sip is all about the grapefruit - apricot tang, with a quick hoppy finish that is refreshingly tart but not too bitter.
Hanging Hills is making a comeback after some difficulties, and as a long time craft beer lover and Nutmeg brewed Quaffer (how many of you remember the Hammer & Nail Brewery in Watertown?) I'm pleased that they are doing so. All new graphics on the cans, which are vaguely similar to Nod Hill's down in Ridgefield. But who cares, it's the beer I'm here for and Jalamanta is a tasty NEIPA worth purchasing!

A: slight haze; pale gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap with a thick collar; OK lacing;
S: tangerine, lemon, and orange zest;
T: watered down tangerine with a bit of a medicinal background; mild to moderate citrus pith bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;
O: OK, but not something I would get again;

Pours a golden cantaloupe like color. Soapy white head. Papaya, pineapple, and mango on the nose with an little bit of estery Bubbalicious, not that dissimilar from Tree House. Those tropical flavors carry through and there’s some nice peppery bitterness. This was excellent.
