Original Jalapeño Jack re-branded as No Heat.
Cream ale infused with a generous amount of jalapeño peppers. Our process creates a unique brew with the aroma and flavor of jalapeño without the heat. Add a wedge of lime for a refreshing variation.

Pours a very slightly clouded orangey gold color with a half inch of tight white foam. Head persists for a good long while, thick ring at the glass and nearly covering the full surface with residual soapy bubbles.
The first thing to hit the nose is fresh jalapeño - bright and earthy green, like right out of the garden. There's also a touch of lemon and a good helping of crackery malt.
The taste is quite balanced - the jalapeño is omnipresent but doesn't dominate and doest really build up. It gets displaced mid-sip by crackery malts and a slight sweetness as the cream ale base comes to play. Very light kiss of lemon and maybe a touch of corn. Then the pepper reasserts itself - still not with any particular heat. It reminds me of jalapeño cream cheese in a way where the pepper flavor is clear but the hear is damped by the cream cheese. The pepper flavor lingers long with a little lemony taste.
Feel is medium bodied and creamy. It's fairly well carbonated. No particular bitterness, but some astringency.
This was a pleasant surprise. I'm really enjoying the balance achieved while managing to feature the Jalapeño - it's certainly present enough to notice but really doesn't dominate. The freshness is also impressive. Quite drinkable and fun to drink.

Ok, this beer is what it says it is. Pale ale that has jalapenos added to it for the flavor, but definitely no heat at all. Nothing to write home about, at all.

Stepping away from the haze and embracing a no-head jalapeno lager, Fat Orange Cat is showing a less catty side with this beer that would appeal to lizards better.
Pale straw and carrying a light keller haze, Jalpeno Jack - No Heat, brings a perfumy vegetal scent to an otherwise grainy-sweet scent and fresh dough character. Sweeter in taste, suggestions of cream corn and hints of wheat bring a smooth and creamy cereal-like taste to the beer's initial taste.
As the sweetness relaxes, the jalapeno flavors shine with its bright and bell pepper character. a tease of peppery grasses and an almost peppercorn bite. But the lager-like flavors aren't done just yet. The beer finishes grainy-sweet, crisp and clean with a fine hop balance and a mellow green pepper medley.
Medium bodied and trending lighter and drier, the bubbles highlight the beer's crispness and also keeps the jalapeno flavor elevated soon into a quick and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Pours a slightly hazy deep yellow, 1" head, good lacing. Nose is jalapeno, vegetal and spicy off the bat and only strengthens as it warms. Underlying sweet notes of malt and corn. Taste follows very closely with definite jalapeno flavor, big notes of green pepper, cucumber peel; light heat from the pepper but very mild. Very little sweetness, finish is very dry as well. This was a very pleasant surprise.

fun beer, cool art, good to see something other than hazy ipa come around from these guys, they were beginning to feel a little one dimensional to me. this is solid, albeit not spicy at all, so dont go expecting one of those hot pepper beers you prank your friends with. it has some cloudiness in appearance, but looks like a pale ale or something, a hint orange with a creamy white head thats frothy feeling and lasting, even some lace in our glasses demarcating each sip. there is fresh pepper character in the nose for sure, distinctly jalapeno which i like, and its earthy, green, and compatible with the pale base malt in here, not a whole lot else going on, the ferment seems clean and this definitely isnt hoppy. the flavor is nice too, the pepper is there the whole way, no real climax at any point, its pretty consistent through each sip. its raw and snappy and slightly fiery like i keep waiting for it to get hot but it never does, and its just about gone on the swallow each time. i like the creamy almost soapy feel this has, kind of fleshes it out and lets the pepper expand on the palate. some light almost rye spice in the base too, a hay or straw note, and some minerals on the finish, good carbonation, and without any real heat in the back of the throat like a lot of these have. i found this delicious and drinkable, somewhat understated overall, especially for these guys, but the quality is there. all the pepper flavor without the heat, and it still tastes like beer. well done, a fun one in the midst of pepper season!

Smells wonderful, like freshly sliced jalapeno along with hints of citrus, cracker, honey, and cream.
Definitely plenty of vegetal jalapeno flavor on the palate, but fairly low dry heat. Additional tasting notes include cream, white dough, honeycomb, light toffee, black pepper, and lemon. The jalapeno comes on strong at first, fades for a bit while the cream ale base takes over, and then comes back with a vengeance (in terms of flavor intensity, not heat) on the back third.
Medium bodied; nails the feel for the 5-6% ABV range. You could just as easily sip, sit, and savor this one as you could crush it in the late afternoon heat.
A lovely, delicious beer that 100% delivers on the premise. It could use more depth and nuance, not to mention some pepper heat, but it doesn't need those aspects to be successful, either.

I realize that this may make me a man of CANtradictions, but while I was less-than-enamored of Left Hand's Pixan Porter yesterday, I am getting right back to pepper beers with this one. It is partly due to my wanting a palate cleanser & also due to its base style. When I was an underage beer drinker, in the late-1970s/early-1980s, I got most excited when we got CANs of Genny Cream Ale. I liked Miller High Life, I tolerated Bud, I hated Stroh's, but Genny Cream was da bomb, yo! We would ostensibly go fishing, but it was an excuse to go down to a local free-running crick (not creek), put our poles inna water with the CANs as bait, let them get really cooled off & then start in, in earnest. I am getting ready to send @jkblr some Genny CANs & you CAN bet that Genny Cream will be among them!

I Crack!ed open the vent only have the Fat Orange Cat begin hissing & spitting at me! 8=O I decided that if he was going to act like that, then I was going to treat him in a not-so-gentle manner. This took the form of an inverted Glug & it looked like soft-serve Vanilla ice cream was flowing into my glass! 8=O It then formed two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head that suddenly exhaled & immediately reduced to wisps! 8=O Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose smelled like a freshly-opened bag of Fritos Spicy Jalapeño-flavored Corn Chips! 8=O
My very first day of Nursery (K-4) School left two (2) lasting impressions on me: 1) I have a redhead fetish, since my first girlfriend was a redheaded classmate & we were the only two with freckles while I had reddish-blonde hair & 2) Fritos are the best snack … EVAR! Man, when I tasted Fritos for the first time, I was hooked! I still eat them all the time, usually Original or a blended mix of Chili Cheese & Original, but the Jalapeño chips really cause me gastro-intestinal distress, sometimes like Roto-Rooter. 8=(
Man, did this beer smell great! Earthy, like fresh-picked peppers from the garden, with the corn adjunct that is a requisite part of the style. 8=O It was like Summer at or near a working farm! The taste was only imbued with a mild heat, but the taste was earthy & smoky, like grilled peppers & grilled corn. 8=O I wish that I had some cheese & crackers to go with this. Surely you have tried Jalapeño Pop!pers at some point. This beer, CANbined with some cheese, would be fabuloso! Finish was dry, spicy-dry, but a revelation. I am going to try & score some more for sharesies. It's peppery without the intense heat, making it a winner for just about everyone.

Pours light gold. Aroma is very much of pepper flesh...in a better way than a worse way. Taste is corn and peppers. Feel is somewhat creamy with medium carbonation. Overall good for what it is... looking for a bit more heat though.
