Pours nice pitch black with good thick head. Nose is chocholate and coffee with a little maple sweetness. Roasty scents also noted. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side but carries through the palate well. Taste is bitter coffee and chocholate followed by some sweetness and light maple ending with nice sweetness that lingers for a while. Overall this is much better than the sleeping in stout that orange cat put out. I get all the desired flavors and the maple is not overpowering but there. Little light with the mouthful but overall well done. I would buy again.
