The blend of Azacca and Mosaic hops bring out orange notes and coupled with blood orange puree creates a strong grapefruit flavor.

Absolutely delicious mix of grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine and primarily orange flavors that's sharp and sweet but barely bitter. It feels thin, but in a very refreshing and juicy way with a nice level of carbonation.

Aroma is sweet orange/citrus/grapefruit and a hint of spicy hops. The flavor is citrus/orange/fruit rind, malts and a long and slightly sweet/tart/spicy hop finish.

Slightly hazy, nose of blood orange, citrus but muted, clean finish, thin mouthfeel, but good overall.

There is text on the bottom outside rim of the can but it is smudged and very hard to read. It appears to say "FOCBILLY-0" then the rest is smudged.
Appearance: The body is opaque and beige with a hint of light, dull, yellow. The head is short, fluffy, and white with decent retention.
Aroma: It has a pretty pronounced tropical hop aroma with notes of grapefruit and pineapple.
Taste: It tastes like grain and grapefruit pith. There is a light bit of alcohol and it is a bit grassy.
Mouthfeel: Moderate bitterness and a bit of hop bite rough the beer up just a bit.
Overall: It tastes a lot like the average attempt at a New England IPA but it doesn't quite hit the mark. The can states that this is a "NEW ENGLAND INDIA PALE ALE WITH BLOOD ORANGE" but the blood orange doesn't seem to really come through. There are many New England IPAs on the market that don't have any actual citrus in them and taste more like citrus than this does. There are also many blood orange beers on the market that deliver more blood orange character. This beer has a rather pronounced grain flavor that pulls away from the hop character. It's decent enough to drink but I wouldn't really recommend it and it's not quite good enough for me to want it again.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color--too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with an eighth of a finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and bits of lacing clinging to the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of blood orange is present in the nose along with hints of piney hops.
T: The taste follows the smell, starting off with flavors of blood orange and tangerine, transitions to hints of pine, and finishes with slight bits of alcohol. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I wouldn't consider this beer to be nearly as juicy and fruity compared to other New England IPAs, but it does doe a good job at showcasing the aromas and flavors of blood orange in the smell and taste.

16oz can from the brewery. Pours a hazy brownish orange with a thin layer of frothy head. Some lacing. Sweet, fruity aroma. Blood orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple and peach. The taste is more on the grapefruit and peach side along with lemon, some tart blood orange and tangerine. Bitter finish with some lime zest and orange peel. Maybe a hint of herbal hops. Light to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Tastes boozier than expected.

Pours a hazy bright orangish yellow with a nice thick white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is mild but citrusy. Flavor shines much bolder than the aroma with oranges galore. Sweet up front with only the faintest of bitterness in the finish. Feel is on the heavier side of medium bodied with low carbonation. Overall a very pleasant beer.

16oz can. Poured out a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of orange peel, orange juice and toasted caramel. Sweet orange and caramel with a tart orange bite.
